- Ernest F. BROOKS. At the Drew Nursing Home in Sackville, New Brunswick, October 18, 1982, Ernest F. BROOKS, in his 91st year. Husband of Myrtle Turner BROOKS. Survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews. Mr. BROOKS was the last surviving member of his immediate family. His father was John T. BROOKS of White Sands. His wife was from Forest Hill, P.E.I. The funeral took place October 20th, from Campbells Funeral Home; the Rev. David H. Snell officiating. The hymns were "The Solid Rock" and "Beulah Land". Interment was in Upper Sackville Cemetery. The pallbearers were Lorne BROOKS, John BROOKS, and Frank BROOKS, all nephews of the deceased, and John BROOKS, Victor BROOKS, and William DERBY who were cousins of the deceased from Murray River, P.E.I.(Newspaper)
