- In loving memory of Florence, the beloved daughter of E & O HORSWILL, who died August 16th, 1892 aged 22 years. "Her end was peace". Also Susannah, grandmother of the above who died February 21st 1894 aged 86 years. "Thy will be done". Also Elizabeth Ann HORSWILL who died June 21st 1897 aged 62 years. "Rest in peace'.
Burial record states: Elizabeth Ann HORSWILL, age 58, residing 105 King St., Plymouth; died on 25 July 1897, buried 28 July 1897 in the parish of Stoke Damerel, County of Devonport.
[There is clearly a discrepancy in her age as reported on her burial record and that inscribed in the memorial stone. Not only that, but her date of death differs also. There is llittle doubt though that this is her as her mother, Susannah, was living at 109 King St., at the time of her own death in 1894.]
