  	"Harry Snow BACHELOR, 70, president and treasurer of the Western Mercantile company, and for twenty-two years an elder in the Linwood Presbyterian church, died last night at the University of Kansas hospitals. A native of Galena, Illinois, he came to Kansas City in 1890 and started in business selling farm supplies to stockmen. He organized his present firm, a retail hardware and implement store at 1600 Liberty street, thirty years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs Eva BACHELOR, and a daughter, Miss Sally Jane BACHELOR of the home, Kansas, and a sister, Mrs. Ellen LEONARD, Longview, Wash."
