    • The Explosion on Board the Thunderer. Funeral of the Killed.
The Press Asscociation has received from the Admiralty the following telegram, dated Saturday: "Vice-Admiral Sir G. P. Hornby reports by telegraph this morning that one of the wounded men, Job HOUGH, gunner's mate, has died, and the other wounded were doing favourably." Admiral Hornby telegraphed from Ismid at half past ten the same morning that the funerals of the officers and men killed took place on Friday in the Armenian burial ground at Ismid.

An inquiry into the cause of the accident was opened on board the Thunderer, at Ismid, on Saturday morning. The War Department had taken special care in testing these monster guns. One was fired over 200 times. The Admiralty has issued the following corrected list of officers and men killed by the explosion: Lieutenants. Augustus H. COKER and Edward DANIEL, Marine Artillery. Petty Officers. George FERN, Isaac GROVER, Job HOUGH, and John ROCHE. Leading Seamen. George H. BUTLAND, William MONDAY, and Willam WARN. Able Seaman. Henry BEZZEL. Corporal. Thomas BILTON, Marine Artillery.
