  Notes	Susannah's parents have not been determined. No baptism has been found for Susannah to Thomas and Susannah HORSWILL; all their other children have known baptisms. There is a baptism for a Susanna ADAMS to a William and Susanna ADAMS, 3 July 1825 in Plymouth St. Andrew; "father a Labourer, abode EggBuckland". In the 1871 and 1891 censuses Susannah gives her place of birth as "Buckland". No marriage has been found between a William ADAMS and Susanna in EggBuckland, or any surrounding parishes, nor has a death or burial been found for a William ADAMS in this area. The possibility exists, nevertheless, that Susannah's mother was first married to a William ADAMS, and then to Thomas HORSWILL, in which case Susannah would not have been Thomas HORSWILL's daughter.
